Traditional Chinese Medicine suggests that staying healthy is possible if we are harmonious with our environments. As food is a part of our environment, we are truly what we eat.
Spring Health Tips
Any green-colored fruit or vegetable is good in spring as it is rich in different vitamins. In spring, all green food is the healthiest and most useful.
Hot and Fast
Try to prepare your food at higher temperatures but for a short period of time. That will eliminate all bacteria and potentially harmful particles in your food.
A Morning Drink
Try a glass of warm water with lemon juice or a few slices of lemon. You may add some honey if you are really keen on leading a healthy lifestyle in all respects.
Try eating such foods as garlic, green onions, watercress, ginger, turmeric, mustard greens, basil, marjoram, cardamom, fennel and cumin in your diet. The above-mentioned foods also have very powerful qualities that help our immune system to get stronger during the spring season.
Do Obvious Thing
If you want to be healthy, eat healthy food! Carrots, potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, and other vegetables are much better than junk food, such as pizzas, crisps, etc.
Add some bitter but natural tastes in your food: black pepper or other herbs will do.
Live Together With the Sun
Try to catch as much of the daylight as you can. Sunlight is the source of energy. Thus, if you wake up with the sun, you get more energy. It is a perfect time for waking up early. Why not try to wake earlier every morning? It also means that you have to be more active, as you are supplied with much sunlight now.
